The IH Practice Methodology |
Our methodology is premised on the need for employing Lifecycle Governance in some cases, Lifecycle Management in others and Lifecycle Guidance for all situations. The same methodology or governance framework can accommodate all of these objectives. The approach can be applied to the project, program, domain or cross-domain community level. We understand that for federation to work either from a program management or technical solution standpoint there needs to be a clearly defined set of expectations.
Those expectations can be further clarified through ‘shared requirements’ which in turn are expressed through an ever growing body of Use Case definitions. Not all requirements and Use Cases will apply to all scenarios or projects, which is why there must also be mechanisms for helping to quickly determine what can be applied on a case by case basis. This Intelligent Healthcare methodology is actualized on top of a set of social publishing capabilities. Those capabilities include:
• A wiki-based requirements repository • A wiki-based enterprise architecture repository • A wiki-based program management / process & best practice ‘configurator’
