Many of you are familiar with the term, "Business Intelligence (BI)." Business Intelligence refers to state of the art data system analytic capabilities applied to help solving real-world business issues. In the Healthcare IT arena however, there are numerous terms now being used that essentially refer to the same thing, those terms include:

It recognizes that the true value of analytics across any Healthcare enterprise or community is the ability to discover and compare information across a wide array of diverse sources and medical disciplines.
